I too am a fisher person and also lean towards using rod and spinning reels/ with 3 tackle boxes of bait to chose from. LOL What makes spinner bait manly?? Huh you tell me. Since I received a fly rod and reel from my Dad last year and one from my brother ha to try it out myself. Now you gone done and did it. Guess you will have to check out my blog now to see what danger I was in. Will clue you in I was using hip waders and spinning gear.
